Weinbeschreibung
Brunello di Montalcino is the most famous Italian wine. Brunello di Montalcino Reserve DOCG, by podere Cannetta winery, is made from 100% Sangiovese Grosso grapes, picked by hand in the vineyards on the slopes around Montalcino (400 amls). It must be aged for 5 years, 3 of which has to be spent in oak barrels.
Characteristics of Brunello di Montalcino wine
It presents an intense red ruby colour. Bouquet delivers typical mature fruits notes. Balanced, elegant and slightly tannic in taste.
Recommended pairings while tatsing this Brunello wine
It can be paired with fine game meat, elaborate dishes, stewed or grilled red meat and aged chees. It should be decanted 2 or 3 hours before serving it, in a crystal glass, at a temperature of 18-20°C in order to enhance its aroma.
