Etna Rosso DOC PLANETA

This red wine comes from our cellar Planeta in Feudo di Mezzo, located in the heart of the area that surround the volcano Etna. 100% Nerello Mascalese grapes, harvested in boxes and refrigerated at 10°C once they reach the cellar. The grapes are soft pressed and the stalks eliminated. The fermentation is managed both in inox and in wood at 23°C and it is followed by 14 days maceration on skins. Aging in steel and wood for 6-8 month.

Features of the "Etna Rosso" DOC wine

Light ruby red colour enriched by perfumes that recall vanilla, strawberries and flowers. The taste is structured but easy-drinking. It is mainly characterized by red fruits, undergrowth, myrtle, oriental spices, iron, spices and rhubarb.

It represents the perfect everyday wine. You can drink it immediately or wait 6-7 years. It has to be served at 16°C in a high, wide wine glass.
