The vines used are those of Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio. The origin is that of the territory of Castiglione di Sicilia, near Catania in the Cavanera Etnea estate. Manual harvesting of the grapes takes place during the first half of October. The vinification of Firriato's Cavanera Etna Rosso involves the use of the traditional red method in conical wooden vats. The refinement of the wine extends for 12 months in Slavonian oak barrels.

A transparent and bright ruby red appearance. The perfume has strong and sophisticated notes of small red fruits, raspberries and peaches, which are enveloped by intense nuances of nutmeg and black pepper, framed by more delicate rose petals. A wine that smells of its pleased volcanicity in iron and mineral nuances. The taste is predominant with the full-bodied taste and the seduction of tannins. Of remarkable persistence, it expresses its bursting personality in each of its components.
