LIVON
Founded by the will of Dorino Livon, the Livon Farm located in Friuli-Venezia Giulia is now run by the children of Dorino and his grandchildren, always respecting the tradition and driven by love for the Friulian territory. In 1964 Dorino bought the first plot of land on a symbol of Friuli, the Colline del Collio: since then, little by little, the Livon family has bought more and more portions of land, thus giving shape to what is now the family business. With the entry into the company of the sons of Dorino, Livon began to focus more and more on the diversification of production without neglecting quality: reduction of the quantities obtained per hectare, shorter pruning, thickening of the existing vineyards, planting of new vineyards with high number of vines per hectare and birth of two separate wineries. Between 1992 and 2001 Livon also bought farms located in different territories, both inside and outside Friuli; these are Villa Chiopris and Tenuta Roncalto in Friuli, Borgo Salcetino in Tuscany and Azienda agricola Colsanto in Umbria.
