From the use of pure Traminer grapes, this white wine from Cantina Bosco del Merlo was born: traminer is an international grape variety that finds fertile ground in Friuli Venezia Giulia, offering fresh and fragrant wines with the finest aromas. After manual harvesting, soft cold pressing is carried out and contact with oxygen is limited with the aid of dry ice. Once the soft pressing and static decantation are completed, we proceed with 14°C fermentation in steel. This is followed by aging on the yeasts for 3 months in an oxygen-free environment, to limit the sulfur dioxide content in the bottle.
Characteristics of this Traminer wine from the Bosco del Merlo winery
It has a straw yellow color with golden reflections. Intense scent, pleasantly aromatic, with hints of rosehip. Soft on the palate, balanced, fine and with a delicately aromatic mango and jasmine aftertaste.

Excellent with seafood dishes: smoked salmon croutons and seafood risotto. Try it with traditional Friulian cured meats like Sauris prosciutto crudo. Serve at 6°C.
