Traminer Aromatico DOC Le Vigne di Zamò

This Traminer Aromatico from Vigne di Zamò Winery is produced with 100% Traminer Aromatico grapes in the vineyards of Rosazzo, Udine. After the harvest in early September, the grapes are de-stemmed and directly pressed; The must thus obtained remains overnight in steel tanks and the following day is decanted, starting the fermentation for a duration of 15 days. The process ends with aging on the fine lees for about 6 months and subsequent bottling.

Upon organoleptic examination, this Friulian white wine shows a straw yellow colour. Sweet notes dominate the nose with hints of rose petals, lychee, peach and pineapple. The taste is intense, aromatic and fresh. Well balanced in its components and with a good body.

Excellent with fish-based dishes, from appetizers to main courses. Try it with chicken curry. This wine should be served at a temperature of 10°C in a not very large glass.
