Bocelli 1831 Rosso IGT Toscana is a red wine that represents a synthesis of the traditional Tuscan style and the influence of international grape varieties. It is produced with a blend in which Sangiovese forms the basis, alongside grapes such as Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah, creating a balanced and modern wine, designed to be accessible but at the same time expressive of the territory. Production takes place in Tuscany, particularly in the area between Lajatico and Volterra, on predominantly clayey-limestone soils. Winemaking takes place in temperature-controlled steel, with the aim of preserving the primary aromas of the fruit. The refinement is generally short and also takes place in steel or with a limited passage in wood, followed by a period in the bottle, so as to maintain a fresh, soft and immediate style.
Characteristics of this Tuscan wine
On organoleptic examination it appears with a bright ruby red color. On the nose it offers a fruity and inviting profile, with notes of cherry, berries and light floral shades of purple, accompanied by more evolved hints reminiscent of warm earth and light spices. In the mouth, it is medium-bodied, soft and flowing, with delicate and well-integrated tannins; the sip is balanced and pleasant, with a slightly dry and persistent finish that recalls the fruity notes perceived on the nose.
