This Toscana Rosso "Melograni" from the winery Teruzzi, is a red wine produced with mainly Sangiovese grapes with a small part of Petit Verdot. During the harvest the grapes are carefully selected, then subjected to destemming and alcoholic fermentation at a controlled temperature. For 12-15 months the must rests in French oak tonneau with further refinement in tanks for 5 months.
Characteristics of this Tuscan red wine
The organoleptic test shows a brilliant ruby red color, with olfactory notes that recall red berried fruits and wood. On the palate it is characterized by an excellent balance between sweetness and structure, with well-defined tannins.
