Wine description
The Rosato "Oniris" from the Sicilian winery Duca di Salaparuta is made with a blend of territorial grapes chosen on the basis of seasonality. Immediately after the manual harvest in September, the must remains in contact with the skins for a short period, in order to extract the color. Before being bottled it rests for a few months in steel.
Characteristics of this Sicilian wine
To the organoleptic examination it presents itself as a bright powder pink wine; on the nose there are delicate aromas of peach and red fruits with citrus hints. On the palate it is balanced with a savory and fresh sip and with a nice aroma.
Suggested food pairings while tasting this Sicilian wine
Excellent with fish-based dishes not so structured; try it with fresh cheeses. To be served at a temperature of 10-12°C in a not very large glass.
