Spumante "Almerita Brut" Metodo Classico DOC Tasca d'Almerita

This sparklin Chardonnay Siciliano DOC represents the innovation of Tasca winery. A refined “Metodo Classico” introduced in the 90s. The aging is managed on yeasts for 24 months and then for 6 months in the bottle, where the sugar quantity reches 7 g/l. Dry but creamy with the typical features of the region like hints of citrus fruits, loquat and cedar. Single variety wine making with 100% Chardonnay cultivated in the area of Regaleali. The re-fermentation in the bottle at a controlled temperature of 14°C follows the rules of “Metodo Classico”. The malolactic fermentation is developed only in a partial way. The aging concludes the process: 24 months in the bottle where the wine rests on its yeasts.

Gold yellow colour with a rich perfume characterized by fragrance and fruits. Its taste is soft, creamy, delicate, harmonious, balanced and persistent.
