Schiava VERNATSCH "448 slm" GIRLAN

The Schiava Vernatsch "448 slm" of the Girlan winery is a delicate red wine, fresh and light produced from Schiava grapes alone from vineyards located on hills, located at about 448 meters above sea level. The bunches are pressed in a delicate way and then carry out the alcoholic fermentation in steel at controlled temperature with frequent daily pumping over and a long maceration on the skins. The wine is aged for a few months in cement tanks before being bottled and finally ready for sale.

Characteristics of this red wine

At the sight of a beautiful bright ruby red color. The nose aromas of red fruit, floral notes of rose and violets, light spicy hints of tobacco and pink pepper. The mouthfeel is enveloping, soft and delicate, with a pleasing freshness.

Excellent with pasta with tomato sauce, white meats stewed or with hot fish appetizers. Serve at 15°C and in not too large glass.
