This fabulous wine is composed by 100% Pinot Noir and praises the denomination Alto Adige DOC. The variety is cultivated around the hills of Oltradige, on the slopes of Mazzon and Montagna, where the lands reach 450-500 meters elevation. The soil, characterized by clay and limestone is perfect for the growth of the variety and give it softness, elegance and structure. The manual harvest is followed by the elimination of stalks. The fermentation is managed in steel containers and lasts 12 -15 days. After the malolactic fermentation starts the aging that lasts for 15 months in barrels made of oak of different dimensions. Other 6 months maturation in the bottle complete the wine-making process.

The aspect shows a ruby red colour with orange reflections on the surface. Its scent opens with blue flowers and wild fruits, to evolve then on hints that recall spices, goudron and vanilla. The taste is structured, full, elegant, balanced, harmonious and persistent.

This fabulous wine represents a perfect marriage with meat and game. Great with guinea-fowl with mushrooms. It has to be served at 14°C in a high, wide wine glass that allows the oxygenation.
