This Rosato "Calanìca" from the Sicilian Winery Duca di Salaparuta is made up with a blend of red grapes grown in Sicily, in the central-western part of the island. Immediately after the manual harvest in the second half of September, the grapes are subjected to cryomaceration before being pressed and then remaining in contact with the skins for a short period in steel tanks, where they rest for a few months before being bottled. The refinement takes place in the bottle for about a month, in the temperature-controlled cellar.

To the organoleptic examination it presents itself as a wine with a bright powder pink color while on the nose delicate aromas of orange blossom and white peach stand out. On the palate it is balanced with a savory and fresh sip.
