The Zardetti sparkling wines born by the vines on the east side of the Conegliano Valdobbiadene hills. Their vinification with the Charmant method represents the most renowned Prosecco in the world. This sparkling DOC wine is simple, fragrant, light perfect for convivial and for the appetizer moments. It is a DOC Treviso wine and it is made by 100% Glera grapes picked during different years. The cultivation area is located at north east of the Conegliano town and it is closer to the Valdobbiadene area. The manual grape harvest takes place in September.
Characteristics of the sparkling DOC Treviso wine
It has a very light straw yellow color almost transparent where the perlage is marked for its lively. It is fruity with yellow apple and pear with citrons hints of yellow grapefruit. The taste is soft and delicate with a good degree of acidity and a dry aroma.
Suggested pairings with the Zardetto sparkling wine
The Doc Treviso sparkling wine has to be served as appetizer or with light courses. The white risotto with parsley or with saffron is a perfect match but also with grilled white meat and vegetables. It has to be served at 8°C in a high and tapered wine glass.
