The PINOT Grigio GRIVÒ DOC from Cantina Volpe Pasini originates in the vineyards of the Colli Orientali del Friuli, an area particularly suited to the production of great white wines thanks to its mild climate and strong temperature variations. It is produced exclusively from hand-picked Pinot Grigio grapes vinified in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, with subsequent aging in the bottle to preserve their freshness, elegance, and aromatic intensity.
Characteristics of this wine from Friuli-Venezia Giulia
On organoleptic examination it appears with a bright straw yellow color. On the nose it expresses intense scents of yellow-fleshed fruit, pear, citrus, white flowers and acacia honey, accompanied by light spicy notes. In the mouth it is fresh, full and elegant, with a pleasant acidity that balances the softness and leads to a persistent and harmonious finish.
Recommended pairings with this Friulian white wine
It pairs perfectly with seafood appetizers, shellfish, seafood, seafood first courses, delicate vegetables and white meats. Also excellent as an aperitif thanks to its freshness and great ease of drinking. The recommended serving temperature is between 8 and 12 °C.
