This sensational wine of Tuscany praises the denomination Montecucco Sangiovese Riserva DOC. It is produced with 100% Sangiovese grapes, cultivated in the best vineyards of Sangiovese, located 300 meters above the sea level on soils characterized by clay, limestone, marl and tuff. The cultivation follows the biological techniques, that allow small productions that reach max 60 quintals per hectare. The grapes are manually selected and the alcoholic fermentation is managed in snub containers made of wood with long maceration. The malolactic fermentation is developed in 40hl oak barrels where the aging lasts for 18 months. Minimum 12 months maturation in the bottle.
