The Merlot Etichetta Nera DOC is a red wine from Friuli, produced by the Agricultural Company Perusini located in Corno di Rosazzo in the Udine province on the Oriental hills. This is the symbolic wine of this cellar that after its first exit it obtained the three glasses on the “Gambero Rosso” guide. The grapes used are 100% Merlot obtained by an old clone of this vine. The wine making takes place in steel with selected yeasts and it follows 12 months of refinement in French oak barrels.
Characteristics of this red wine from Perusini winery
It has a burgundy color with ruby red reflections. The scent is fruity with cherry, prune and black berry aromas. The taste is full and fruity with a persistent and equilibrated ending.
