This sensational Valtellina Superiore DOCG Inferno wine is produced by the renamed Plozza winery; the Red Edition can be aged for 10 years. It takes place a long slow maceration and it follows the maturation period of two years in Slavonia oak barrels. The aging period takes place in bottles for one year. An elegant, delicate and refined wine with a dark soul that has to be explored. Nomen est omen, the Inferno (hell) has secret aromatic doors that bring you to the deepest tastes.
Characteristics of this Valtellina Superiore DOCG Inferno “red edition”
It has a medium intense garnet color. The smell is inviting with ripen berries aromas and it reminds the fused chocolate. The taste has surprising tannins unexpected and delicate that softly lies on the fruity tastes. There are some Alps herbs, rosemary and licorice hints.

This wine is perfect to be tasted alone in meditation or during family meetings. It is suitable with tasty meats or important courses. It must be served at 18°C in wide wine glasses.
