Wine description
The Gewürztraminer Vendemmia Tardiva DOC "Spatlese" from Hofstätter comes from grapes harvested in late November. The bunches are gently pressed and, after slight pressing and sedimentation, the must ferments slowly. After fermentation, the wine matures in small oak barrels for 12 months and after bottling for a further 6 months in the bottle.

The wine has an intense golden color, which gives the nose exotic aromas such as mango and papaya, with a touch of pineapple and lychee, on a spicy background. The mouthfeel is full-bodied and typical, with a long persistence.

Excellent with oriental dishes, desserts or blue cheeses. Serve at 10ºC in a glass not too wide.
