For the production of this refined label, the Marotti Campi winery breeds and selects the finest Verdicchio grapes. Their origin is situated within the area of Morro d’Alba, in the Marches region. Harvest takes place from mid-October to the end of the month and is carried out strictly by hand in wooden boxes. The vinification involves soft pressing, short stay on the rinds, fermentation in steel tanks at 15°C, stay on the noble lees until bottling. Aging takes place for 12 months in steel tanks and 20% aged for the same period in small French oak barrels.
Verdicchio Classico Riserva’s features
This wine has a bright straw yellow color with golden reflections. The scent is the classic one of broom, elderberry, marine and mineral notes, a touch of vanilla, capable of great evolutions in aging. The taste is that of a great structure, with acid elements to support the fruity notes, sapid and mineral, of great balance and long finish.
