This red wine from Giuseppe Sedilesu Winery was created as a tribute to the historic family vineyard (known as ghirada in Sardinian) located in Murruzzone. It is produced exclusively from Cannonau di Mamoiada grapes grown on granite soils and harvested in early October. Fermentation takes place in truncated cone-shaped wooden vats at a temperature of 24-30°C with maceration lasting around 25 days. Maturation takes place in large barrels for 30 months.
Characteristics of this Sardinian wine
It has an intense ruby red colour and a combination of enveloping aromas reminiscent of ripe red fruits and spices. Powerful on the palate, with elegant tannins and a savoury, long finish.

Excellent with red meat or game dishes such as grilled meats or stews. Also try it with mature cheeses. Serve at a temperature of 16-18°C.
