The Brunello di Montalcino from the Tuscan winery Collosorbo estate it is produced as per regulations with 100% Sangiovese grapes expertly selected and harvested exclusively by hand in the company vineyards. After the harvest, the grapes ferment at a controlled temperature by macerating on the skins; they are subsequently transferred for 3 years into oak barrels of different sizes before the final reassembly. After bottling it continues for another 8 months of refinement in the bottle before being sold.
Characteristics of this Tuscan wine
Upon organoleptic examination this wine shows an intense ruby red colour; olfactory notes appear on the nose ranging from fruity aromas to spicy tones. In the mouth it is robust, warm, with a long persistence.
Recommended pairings while tasting this red wine
Excellent with meat-based dishes, even stews. Particularly worth trying with sliced meat or Florentine steak. Serve at a temperature of 16-18°C in a large glass.
