Poggio Argentiera
Poggio Argentiera born in 1997 with the buying of the Adua estate. This is an historical estate from the beginning of 1900 when the Maremma was reclaimed. The project was leaded by Gianpaolo Paglia an agronomist from the Maremma and the English Justine Keeling a marketing manager. Both bought 6 hectares to cultivate and with the time this possession grew. In 2001 it is bought a new property in the Scansano hamlet the Keeling estate. The vineyards cultivation grew to 23 hectares all with the Morellino di Scansano DOCG denomination. The wines the most represents this winery is the Morellino di Scansano "Bellamarsilia" due to the right exposition of the cultivation of Sangiovese and the maturation of the grapes with a perfect climatic condition. The Keeling estate has a soil which is extremely pebbly and it allows to cultivate unique vineyards. Since 2009 the entire company is careful to sustainability taking care of the environment, the economy, the social and the producing processes. The Poggio Argentiera has become part of the “Tua Rita Group” a certainty in the wine world that is owner of the Bolgheri winery.
