This Valtellina red wine is obtained from the use of a single grape variety, Nebbiolo, and is produced exclusively in the best vintages. The vinification and aging phase of this fine wine from the Aldo Rainoldi winery is particular too: the grapes harvested in the vineyards located in the municipality of Sondrio are pressed and following maturation and placed in oak barrels of 25 hl for a duration of about 26 months; Subsequently, a 3-month stay in steel takes place before the wine is bottled. For 36 months this fine red wine ages in the bottle in dark and cool cellars and is then ready to be marketed.
