This red wine from Prà Winery comes from the vineyards of Mezzane and Tregnago, planted on calcareous soils with south-east exposure. The grapes used are a blend of Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella and Oseleta, which are harvested manually during the harvest in early October. The vinification of this Valpolicella from Cantina Prà requires slight drying of the grapes for about twenty days, crushing and destemming, and alcoholic fermentation in steel. Ageing takes place in 20-hectolitre oak barrels for 3-6 months.
Characteristics of this Veneto wine
It has a bright red colour with violet reflections. The nose is striking with a spicy profile and notes of red berries, while the palate is fresh with subtle and persistent tannins.
Recommended pairings with this red wine
