Valdobbiadene Superiore DOCG Cartizze Dry by Cantina Tenuta Torre Zecchei is considered by many the "King" of Sparkling Italian wines. Grapes that give life to this great Prosecco are 100% Glera and they come from Cartizze hill, which is really renewed in Valdobbiadene region, thanks to its particular sun exposure and to the quality of the soil. This is why it earned the title of Superiore.
Characteristics of Cartizze DOCG
It presents a brilliant straw yellow colour and it displays a fruity and soft fragrance. It conveys jasmine flower, citrus fruits and pineapple senses and a well-balanced and fresh taste.
Recommended pairings with this Cartizze DOCG
It’s perfect to be paired with desserts, fruits and recently it has been drunk as aperitif and to celebrate important occasions. It should be served at a temperature of 8-10°C after being uncorked and placed in an ice bucket full of ice mixed with water.
