Among the steepest hills of Valdobbiadene, in a small area of only 107 hectares, this Upper Valdobbiadene of Cartizze Dry is born. For this prosecco from Cantina La Marca, the harvest is carried out by hand, once the grapes have reached full ripeness: this is followed by soft pressing and fermentation of the flowering must at a temperature of 15°C for approximately 15-20 days. Sparkling wine is carried out in an autoclave using the Charmat or Martinotti method.
Features of this Cartizze Dry
It has a straw yellow color and a fine, persistent perlage. The olfactory notes recall white flowers such as linden and acacia, but also apple, pear and apricot. On the palate it is sparkling, fresh and soft.
