The classification for the Ribeca is the classic one D.O.C. Sicily. The Firriato winery proceeds with the vinification using only 100% pure Perricone grapes. The origin falls in the territory of the Agro di Trapani in the Pianoro Cuddìa estate. Manual harvesting happens during the last days of September and extends to the first ten days of October. The vinification follows the traditional red method in thermo-controlled stainless steel tanks. The refinement of the wine takes place for 10, maximum 12 months in French oak barriques.
Ribeca Perricone Firriato
A deep, dark, purplish ruby red colour. The perfume has the complexity of its bouquet and offers the captivating discovery of delicate tones of blackberry, plum and cherry, accompanied by empathetic nuances of licorice, ginger, cloves and juniper berries. A wealth that has no equal and that smells of Sicily. On the palate you can feel the fresh and overwhelming tannins that highlight the elegance and sumptuousness of a wine that knows it has an inimitable charm. Its fruit is energetic and ambitious, in balance with a contained and pleasant acidity.
