The Vino dei Poeti Prosecco DOC Spumante Brut di Bottega is obtained mainly from Glera grapes grown in the province of Treviso. After the harvest, which generally takes place in mid-September, the grapes are destemmed and subjected to soft pressing to separate the must from the skins. This is followed by a first fermentation in steel tanks with selected yeasts. The second fermentation, responsible for the sparkling wine, takes place in an autoclave according to the Martinotti Method, at a controlled temperature of approximately 14 °C, so as to preserve the primary aromas and freshness of the wine. Upon completion, the product is cold stabilized, filtered and bottled.
Features of this Prosecco Bottega
From an organoleptic point of view it has a straw yellow colour with golden reflections, accompanied by a fine and persistent perlage. Fruity aromas of apple, white peach and citrus emerge on the nose, enriched with floral notes of acacia and wisteria. In the mouth it is fresh, delicate and balanced, with a good harmony between acidity and softness that makes it pleasantly fragrant and smooth.
Recommended pairings with this wine from Veneto
It is an extremely versatile wine: it is very suitable as an aperitif, but also accompanies first courses, risottos, fish dishes, white meats and vegetable preparations. Thanks to its lightness and aromaticity, it can also be appreciated in more informal contexts, such as with pizza or in cocktail mixing. Serve at a temperature of 4-5°C.
