The Vino dei Poeti Prosecco DOC Rosé from Cantina Bottega is made from Glera and Pinot Noir grapes grown in the Prosecco DOC area. Production involves separate vinification of the two varieties: Glera is vinified in white, while Pinot Noir is processed with a short maceration on the skins to extract the typical pinkish color. Subsequently, the foam is assembled and set according to the Martinotti Method, which involves refermentation in an autoclave at a controlled temperature. This process allows to preserve freshness, primary scents and fineness of the perlage, maintaining a fragrant and immediate style.
Characteristics of this Prosecco from Cantina Bottega
From an organoleptic point of view, it has a pale, bright pink color, with mother-of-pearl reflections and a fine, persistent perlage. On the nose it offers an elegant and delicate bouquet, dominated by hints of small red fruits such as strawberries and currants, accompanied by notes of apple, pear and light floral nuances. On the palate it is fresh, harmonious and slightly savoury, with good acidity that supports drinking and fruity calls that persist in the finish, making it balanced and pleasantly smooth.
Recommended pairings with this wine from Veneto
It lends itself very well as an aperitif, but also easily accompanies light dishes based on fish, shellfish and molluscs, delicate risottos, white meats and fresh cheeses. Its versatility also makes it suitable for more informal settings, such as pizza pairings or Asian cuisine, where its acidity and mild effervescence help balance flavors and textures. Serve at a temperature of 4-5°C.
