From the Salento vineyards located at 90 m above sea level on clayey soils, this Nero di Troia Helena from the Apulian winery Vespa Vignaioli is born: this red wine made from Trojan grapes is a real oenological challenge from Puglia to French wines. The harvest takes place in the first ten days of October: after the pajara-shrinkage, red vinification takes place, with maceration on the skins for 15 days. Malolactic wine takes place in Never and Tr4oncais bars for 12 months, giving the wine considerable structure.
Characteristics of this Salento wine
It has a very intense red color and an olfactory bouquet of ripe red fruit, spices, earthy notes. On the palate, velvety tannins and a long finish, with an undergrowth aftertaste.
