Nebbiolo d'Alba "Nonno Vet" DOC Massucco

The Nebbiolo from Piedmont cultivated in the Roero territory is one of the vines cultivated in both the sides of the Tanaro river in the North and in the South which permits this wine to be a synonym of quality, tradition and prestigious. The cultivation territory is extended for 25 hamlets located on both the banks. The Nebbiolo d'Alba DOC of the Massucco winery is a red wine produced only with Nebbiolo grapes.  It is perfect to be aged even if this capacity depends on the cultivation area. This wine is produced in Castagnito in the Roero on South-east exposed territories which have the direct light of the sun during all the day.

It has a ruby red color, tending to a more garnet one with the aging. It has some red fruit scent such as the strawberry and raspberry. The floral bouquet is marked by the geranium scent in addition to spicy aromas such as the cinnamon and the vanilla which are present also in the taste. The taste is dry and well-structured, with a good acidity, alcohol and tannins with a great elegance and harmony. The aging period in barrels lasts 12 months which gives a light woody aftertaste to the wine.
