Cantalupi Primitivo is a red wine produced by Conti Zecca Winery with Primitivo grapes and other vines in a smaller percentage. The place of origin is Salice Salentino, near Lecce, where the grapes are grown with the spurred cordon method and on soils of alluvial origin with the presence of limestone. The manual harvest is followed by the de-stemming and soft pressing phases: then the maceration at controlled temperature takes place for a duration of 8 days and the fermentation in steel, while the maturation of the product involves its permanence in cement tanks coated with food resins. .
