Wine list | Muller Thurgau |
From the vinification of a vine that has represented the winemaking history of Trentino. A grape that has hardened in the cold climates of the mountains, but which, unexpectedly, vibrates with the surf and waves and the nostrils quiver with the scent of sage in the sun. A mono varietal white wine, 100% Müller Thurgau in purity. The vines are up to 20 years old, the yield per hectare of vineyard reaches 80 hectoliters of wine, the farming method is the classic Trentino one with pergola and Gujot. The vinification involves de-stemming the ripe and healthy grapes, then soft pressing, natural decanting, fermentation at a controlled temperature of 16°C, and maturation on the fine lees for 4 months in steel tanks. The vineyard is hilly with east exposure on 550 and 650 m above sea level. The soil is predominantly calcareous and clayey with a very mineral mixture.
