"Forlino" wine from La Baia del Sole winery comes from 40% Sangiovese, 30% Merlot and 30% Syrah grapes: the vineyards are located near Luni, Castelnuovo Magra and La Spezia at an altitude ranging from 0 to 30 m; the soils are sandy with clayey components, with fairly sized pebbles. The manual harvest takes place at the beginning of September, then follows a fermentation and maceration procedure at a controlled temperature of about 18/26°C. Malolactic in steel and bottle aging follows.

Upon organoleptic examination this wine shows an intense ruby red color; the olfactory notes refer to red berried fruits with slight spicy hints. The palate is dry, soft and full.
