The denomination for this sensational red wine of the Sicilian tradition is that of Etna Rosso DOC. The vine used is that of Nerello Mascalese to which is added a small percentage of Nerello Cappuccio. A wise blend that takes into account the local tradition and the absolute authenticity of the vines. The production area is that of Eastern Sicily on the slopes of the northern slope of Etna. The grapes are harvested manually in boxes with careful selection of the grapes in the vineyard. The wine is then fermented in stainless steel and macerated on the skins for 8-10 days at a controlled temperature of 25ºC. Finally, the aging lasts for 14 months, in cement tanks and partially in French oak barrels of second and third passage, then at least 10 months in bottle before being marketed.

On the organoleptic examination the wine appears light ruby red. The bouquet has a refined bouquet with notes of red fruit, on all the wild strawberry and floral hints of violet; delicate tertiary nuances are added including black pepper and sweet tobacco. The taste on the palate is fresh and fragrant, soft with well integrated tannins and a balanced and juicy finish.
