From the vinification of Cabernet Sauvignon grape, a small percentage of Montepulciano d'Abruzzo. The origin is that of Colle Rosina is located right in front of the main winery Masciarelli. The harvest takes place during the first weeks of October. The vinification foresees that the mono - varietal wine ferments in stainless steel and ages in French oak for over a year. A long aging in bottle follows. This exclusive production of about 3,000 bottles sees the light in a single vineyard raised in guyot whose plants exceed 40 years of age. The very low yield of only 50 q.li per hectare allows to obtain remarkably balanced grapes and harvested at zero km.
Characteristics of this red wine
The appearance of the wine has a dark ruby red color. The aroma on the nose expresses beautiful notes of blackberry, rhubarb, black pepper and vanilla. Hints of great charm that introduce an elegant, intense and very long taste. The taste is balanced and deep, with a finish of excellent persistence.
