Made from 100% pure Montepulciano grapes. It comes from the classic area of S. Martino S. Marrucina, located 400 meters above sea level. The harvest takes place at the end of October. The vinification takes place in stainless steel tanks until 1996 and wood from 1997, from 2013 in stainless steel. Aging for 36 months, 18/24 in barriques, then 2/3 years in bottle.
Characteristics of this red wine
The wine has an intense ruby red color. The nose shows fine nuances and complex cherry jam and blackberries, aromas of vanilla, leather and bitter chocolate. The taste on the palate, elegance and balance. It stretches showing a strong body and important fresh and savory, well balanced by the great component of heat, with rustic tannins. It closes harmoniously on spicy notes.

A wine that combines deliciously with first and second courses based on red meat, game and traditional cold cuts. Sublime with a meatloaf crust, pappardelle with wild boar sauce or with important cheeses. The optimal serving temperature is 16 ºC.
