The Chianti Classico Tenuta Perano derives its origins from the hills of Gaiole in Chianti, in particular from vineyards located 500 m above sea level and facing south, south-west. The combination of altitude, exposure and slope create the perfect conditions to give this wine an absolute quality. After the harvest of mid-September, the wine is vinified in steel at a controlled temperature, with maceration on the skins. The aging takes place in wood and then in bottle for a short time.
Characteristics of this Tuscan red wine
It has an intense ruby red color and an olfactory profile of red fruits, wild rose, violet and woody notes. The palate has a good tannic texture, fresh and mineral.
Recommended pairings with this Tuscan wine
Excellent with pasta dishes based on meat sauces and with all meat dishes, especially those of the typical Tuscan cuisine. Serve at a temperature of 18 ºC.
