Made from 100% pure Sangiovese grapes, Cantina San Felice produces this sensational wine famous all over the world, rich in fragrant notes and characterized by a unique taste, the result of an essential communion between territory and vine. The origin is of course that of the DOCG of Brunello di Montalcino. The aging of the wine is characterized by the maceration of the grapes which lasts for at least 20 days at a temperature between 28-30ºC, fermenting in steel and carrying out the malolactic fermentation; then it is passed to the phase of aging, which takes place in Slavonian oak barrels for 36 months and for another 12 months in the bottle.
Characteristics of this Brunello di Montalcino Docg
To the appearance that is evident from the organoleptic examination, the wine has an intense ruby red color. The aroma is characterized by its depth, with enveloping aromas of ripe red fruit, tobacco, leather, balsamic herbs and pepper. The taste is austere, structured, rich, with an excellent acidity and a great expression of tannin. The finish is very long.
