“Barolo Castiglione” praises the denomination “DOCG Piemonte”. It is produced with 100% Nebbiolo grapes coming from different vineyards spread in the area of Barolo, with an age that vary between 7-40 years old. The soil is characterized by clay and limestone. 4500 plants per hectare trained with Guyot training method. Every single crü is vinified and aged separately and with different methods that underlines its particular feature. The aging requires that after 30 months in barrique and big barrels they are assembled before bottling. The vineyards for the production of “Barolo Castiglione DOCG” are located in Castiglione Falletto, Monforte, Barolo and Novello. This wine leave without words for its perfect and harmonious balance.

It expresses a ruby red colour, shiny, bright. The scent is perfect, with hints of cherry and plums that evolve in spices, liquorice and anise. Its taste is enchanting and completes the sensations generated by the scent with leather, eucalyptus and tobacco. Structured, rich, fresh, with recognizable tannins and a long, pure final.
