Barbera d'Alba di La Fusina comes from the vinification of 100% pure Barbera d'alba grapes from the Barolo area, at the top of a favorably sunny hill, near Serralunga d'Alba.
Characteristics of this red wine
This Barbera DOC by Cantina la Fusina conveys a strong spices and fruits sense. It’s persuasive in the mouth, it’s a balanced, full-bodied wine which mixes plenty of flavours harmonized by its structure, which is able to agree a range of sensations like raspberry notes with a strong aftertaste. This wine is clear as the land whence it comes from.
Recommended pairings while tasting this wine from Piedmont
It should be served at a temperature of 18°C. Some minutes of decantation are enough to bring out its qualities. It can be paired with Piedmont typical dishes, risotto, boiled or braised meat and game meat.
