Aglianico Sannio RISERVA "Cantari" DOP LA GUARDIENSE

The wine par excellence of Cru line of the Casa Campana La Guardiense. The grape variety used for its vinification is that of 100% pure Aglianico. Its origin is the classic one of the Sannio area near Benevento, in Campania. Harvest takes place by hand and lasts until the end of October, with optimal ripening of the grapes. Vinification involves maceration on skins for 22 days with a few daily pumping over, 20% of bloodletting, fermentation in stainless steel. Aging in Allier and Tronçais barriques for 12 months.

A deep, intense and concentrated ruby red color. Scent has fruity and sweet sensations, hints of vanilla emerge above all. Taste is full-bodied, with an evident tannic texture and a soft and enveloping sip on the palate.

Perfect wine with first courses, it is also excellent with meat main courses cooked with long preparations, such as braised and stewed meat. The optimum serving temperature is 18 ° C.
