This Zibibbo IGT "Morsi di Luce" from the Sicilian Florio winery is made with 100% Zibibbo grapes, grown on calcareous and arid white soils. Immediately after the harvest at the end of September, with grapes picked in the overripe phase, we move on to the phase of soft pressing and fermentation at a controlled temperature. Once an alcohol content of about 5-6°C is reached, the wine distillate is added up to 16°C in order to stop fermentation. The maturation takes place for at least 10 months in oak barrels and the final phase of aging takes place in the bottle for at least 2 months.
