COLPETRONE

The Colpetrone Winery was founded in 1995 as the youngest property of Tenute del Cerro. This winery is located in the center of Umbria, in Montefalco, where Montefalco Rosso, Montefalco Sagrantino and Passito di Montefalco are produced, with vineyards extending for about 62 hectares. The investments made have led Colpetrone to be one of the major producers of Sagrantino thanks to its extremely refined and quality labels, the result of farming systems with yields of 60 quintals per hectare, below the 80 allowed by the disciplinary, a figure indicating how high the target level is.
