Wine list | Rosso Veronese |
The red IGT Guido Manara Winery is a wine of high quality, a product that looks a lot like Amarone from the Veneto region, although not a DOC expresses a quality that amazes many connoisseurs. The grapes from which it takes life are: 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot e 10% Croatina. Harvest carefully selected for the flash that lasts an average of 45 days. Pressing and fermentation: Soft pressing, maceration, slow fermentation in stainless steel tanks for a period of 20/25 days. Aging: Aging in French oak barrels has a duration of 24/30 months. Bottle aging varies from 6 to 12 months.
Characteristics of Rosso Veronese
It presents a red almost garnet colour. Bouquet of plum and undergrowth with vanilla, licorice and cocoa fragrances due to the long ageing. Full-bodied with a slightly tannic note on the mouth.
Recommended pairings while tasting this red wine
It should be served in a broad crystal glass at a temperature of 18-20°C. One or two hours of decantation are suggested before drinking.
