Wine description
Produced from pure refosco dal peduncolo rosso grapes, this Friulian red wine from the Zorzettig Winery is characterised by a fresh and slightly savoury taste. After the grapes are picked, they are pressed, destemmed and macerated. The fermentation process follows and then maturation in stainless steel for a few months before bottling.
Characteristics of this Friulian wine
It has a deep ruby red colour. The olfactory notes are reminiscent of black cherry, blackberry and raspberry while the palate has a structure with good balance.
Recommended pairings with this Friulian red wine
Perfect with particularly tasty meat sauces, game and mature cheeses. Serve at a temperature of 16-18° C
