This Malvasia delle Lipari from the Sicilian Florio winery is made up with Malvasia di Lipari and Corinto Nero grapes from the vineyards of the island of Malfa: here there are soils of volcanic origin and the climate is insular with rainy and mild winters. Immediately after the manual harvest in the second half of September, the advanced ripening grapes are further left to dry for about 20 days. Then follows pressing, brief contact with the skins and fermentation of the must obtained, which then remains for 5 months in oak barrels.
Characteristics of this Sicilian wine
