Origins and history

Maremma has been known since Etruscan times for its high quality labels, now appreciated all over the world for their organoleptic characteristics and unmistakable structure. The native vines used for the production of Maremma wines, used alone or in blend with 60% complementary grapes, are Merlot, Syrah, Ciliegiolo, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, Sangiovese. For the production can also be used black grapes from other typical vines of Tuscany to 40%.
