From the wise vinification of 60% blend grapes of Corvina Veronese, 35% of Rondinella and 5% of Molinara grapes. The grapes come from the DOCG area of Veneto. Fermentation, after the grapes are harvested rather late, slightly over-ripened, and placed in airy and dry environments for drying on plateau for about 4 months. The wine is then vinified in red, preceded by a week of premaceration of the skins in the must. The wine is aged in Slavonian oak barrels for at least 2 years.
Characteristics of this Amarone Docg
The wine has a garnet red color with brilliant reflections. The nose is broad, with hints of berries and dried plum, which are well supported by balsamic notes of excellent persistence. The taste in the mouth comes majestic and incredibly enveloping, with fragrant aromatic notes that make you appreciate even more the flavor.
